Film Review: Anon

Leave a comment June 15, 2018 nicklavitz

Anon has all the elements necessary to tell a good story about the abuse of extraordinary surveillance powers. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver an engaging experience, resulting in a cold and emotionless film that leaves an aftertaste of disappointment.

    Free Story: Exorcist for Hire

    An Emily Voss Story

Cover of the book "Past Mistakes" by Nick Lavitz. A black and white image of a woman in an urban setting, dressed in demin, her head bent slightly forwards and her face obscured by her hair.

Emily Voss scrapes a living performing exorcisms in New York city. Despite occasional scrapes with real demons, most of her work is little more than fakery. She takes the money anyway and drowns her guilt in a glass of whisky at the end of the day.

Called to investigate strange occurrences in an ageing hotel, Emily comes face to face with something that's going to take more than a kilo of salt and a few latin phrases to deal with.
