A good entry

As you may have noticed, I'm not very good at being personal on this weblog. Most of the people who read it and know me know far more about me than any stranger could by reading it. I suspect, in my more honest moments, that very few people read this, and perhaps that's why I don't put all that much effort into the language I use and the subjects I choose to comment on. The world hardly needs another "rant of the moment" blog, but it's often what this seems to be. I won't stop yet, it's still cathartic at the time, and so serves a purpose at least for me, even if my more individual frustrations, personal emotions and reflections are somewhat taboo for a public weblog.

There are, however, a few "bloggers" (God how I hate that word) who actually manage to bare their soul on the net. One such is the Everyday Stranger, I call her that because she says her real name's not Helen, which is the name she uses online. Her posts are personal, no-holds-barred, guts 'n all emotional honesty. What's more, she takes the time to write well, which is more than can be said for most of the rest of us sorry timewasters. So I encourage you as strongly as a printed word on an anonymous webpage can, to check out this entry from her Blog. And come back someday, every once in a while, I get bored talking to myself.

Found you via blog explosion - very nice place.

I don't think a person has to be overly personal in order to have a great blog - yours is a fine example :)

It always amazes me just how many return visitors I get, I don't 'do' current affairs, news, pop culture - in fact I write about nothing of any real importance at all.
Yes I have written a couple of personal posts, you'd be surprised at the reactions you get from the strangest places - so much so that I did briefly consider removing one of my posts... But a good blog is a good blog, at the end of the day it's down to the personal taste of the reader if they want to stay or return.

Some people are born story tellers, others just catalogue their day to day lives - whereas others merely wish to make everyone else see their way of thinking as the ONLY way of thinking (and I for one am glad they have blogs for this, it means I can just click away instead of having to listen to them rant)

blogging is almost a way of life for each and everyone of these people, I'm not interested in traffic as such (I joined B.E as a referrel from a friend who is) But I do enjoy trawling and reading every chance i get.

As for the site - my ONLY critisism is the colours. I know a couple of people with sight problems - My stepdad for instance, not a hope he could read this, which is a shame - he'd love your site.
Um sorry about the essay btw *blush* 7am and no sleep gets me waffling like nobodys business...
